My name is Anaïs, I was born and raised in Saint-Raphaël, France. I lived in 4 different countries: France (Saint-Raphaël & Paris), Spain (Madrid), the USA (Hawaii & Boston) & New Zealand (Auckland). I love going everywhere, It keeps me feeling alive. Each time I discover a new place I feel like a scientist who discovers a new planet. Complete excitement and joy. When I finished High School, I left my little town in the South of France, (where I am originally from) to go to Paris. I wanted to see how it would be to live in a big city. I studied International Business and earned a Master's Degree. I like Paris but while I was there I missed my Mediterranean Sea or the smell of the Pacific Ocean... Big city life simply could not make the cut, I needed to be able to hear the sound of the waves breaking on Shore. During my studies, I had to go abroad for a year. I didn't complain :) So, I decided to study a semester in Madrid, Spain and another one in Honolulu, Hawaii in the USA. It was the best year of my life! I learned so much about different cultures. More importantly, I gained personal insight about myself. It was a life changing experience that I would recommend to anyone! Then, I spent another year in Hawaii & 9 months in New Zealand (with a Working Holiday Visa). I like Hiking, exploring, the colour blue, going to the beach, playing sports, taking pictures, finding sea shell+ sea glass, & eating crêpes! :) I called this blog "Forever more Aloha" because I lived in Hawaii for 2 years. The word "Aloha" is one of the most commonly used word there and I love its meaning. While most simply it means 'Hello', there is actually a lot more to it. 'Aloha' also means 'Goodbye', 'Love' & 'Affection'. The literal root meaning of Aloha is; 'Alo' meaning presence, front and face , & 'Ha' means the presence of breath/ the birth of breath. Aloha is a way of living and treating each other with love and respect. You start by teaching yourself how to love your own being, and to afterwards spread the love to others. Thus, I have created this blog as away to share all that I have seen and learned while on my travels. I want to share with you the Aloha that I discovered and open your mind to new and exciting places.
